Minutes from GCF Board Meeting held 1/26/2015
Board Members Present:
Ian Winger, Ed Hinton, Bruce Keen, Larry Johnson, Jonathan Dancer
Absent: Lents Pendergast, and Lary Smith
Bruce announced that the school starts Mar 28th and will be on Apr 11th and 25th.
Lary Smith has declined to be the coordinator for the outing on Sep 26th. We still will need a coordinator for the outing at Upper Illinois.
At the Roaring River outing we plan to have chili.
Board has approved the outing list.
People that are tying flies for Bob Cunningham’s party should bring them to the Feb meeting.
There was a motion to approve purchasing the fly box and engraving for Bob’s gift. Motion approved.
Dick Turnbull will be the speaker at the Feb meeting and will not need a projector.
Ivan will handle drinks for the Bob Cunningham party. Sylvia will bring the cake.
The club will be tying flies and doing casting demonstrations at the Tackle Show, Washington County Fair Building on Feb 7th and 8th. Ivan has schedule of workers
Ivan will set up a picnic committee before the next meeting.
It is time to start publishing for the fly fishing school
Sunrise reporter, Cable One Channel 16, newspaper, and fliers. There is outdoor column in the Examiner Enterprise. Riley will contact Kelly Bostonian with the Tulsa World.
